Stories the map leaves out, in augmented reality

We bring a place's own stories back to life in AR, so people walk the lanes and step into the shops. We started on Lee Jung-seop Street in Seogwipo.

About

We put the story back on the street

Lee Jung-seop Street had the painter's name, and not much reason to stay. Call it a themed street if you like. Without a story to enjoy, people just walk through. We opened in Seogwipo to set that place's story back into the gap.

People do not stop for the technology. They stop for the story of the lane. There is no app. Tap the NFC tag outside a shop and the browser opens. When the story ends, they walk into the shop next door.

How a walk goes

What we can do together

We work with local governments, shopping streets, destinations, and festivals.

Local story AR trails

Streets and shopping districts

We place a neighborhood's own stories along its streets, so people walk longer and step into the shops. The first stage is Lee Jung-seop Street in Seogwipo.

Photo spots and missions

AR photo spots and missions for festivals, pop-ups, and events. In the cherry blossom tunnel AR, you take photos among falling petals, and a colored-in drawing comes to life when you scan it.

Virtual out-of-home

Virtual OOH

No sign to put up. We float a shop's or a brand's story over the street in AR. As a sample, we hung a sign for a made-up café over Robson Street in Vancouver.

Global

The next story is being made in Vancouver

We are preparing work outside Korea, with Vancouver, British Columbia, as the base.

The new demo is Reflections in the Rain. Puddles on Vancouver streets become windows into another world. The point is that the other world sits in the real street without a break.

In development

We keep a record on Instagram of building our business in Canada. Stories of Yumi, our character, and Yumi's world are there too.
